Child safety standards
Stacks is a community for adults. These standards explain how we keep children safe and how we respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Zero tolerance
We do not allow any content or behaviour that sexually exploits or endangers children. This includes child sexual abuse material, sexualising minors, grooming, sextortion, and any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes. It is prohibited everywhere in Stacks: profiles, photos, messages, requests to connect, submissions and events.
Adults only
Stacks is only for people aged 18 and over. Everyone gives their date of birth when they join, and we refuse anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.
How to report a concern
- In the app: open the member's profile or request, tap Report, choose Inappropriate, and describe what happened. Reports go straight to the Stacks team. You can also block the member.
- By email: write to support@stacks.ltd with the subject “Child safety”. Tell us what you saw and where, without attaching or forwarding any abusive images.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the local police first.
What we do
When we receive a report, we review it as a priority. Where it involves CSAE or CSAM we:
- remove the content and suspend the account straight away;
- keep the information that law enforcement may need, for as long as the law requires;
- report it to the relevant authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal in India (cybercrime.gov.in), and to other national authorities where the law requires;
- cooperate with law enforcement requests made under applicable law.
We never ask the person reporting to collect or send abusive material.
